It started with one belief.
Great days on the mountain start with equipment that is right. It is not just speed or the latest technology: care, attention and honest advice make the difference.
That belief led us to found The Alpine Co.: the kind of workshop where we would entrust our own valued equipment.
We chose to use the same brands and confidently refer customers to each other during busy periods. That ultimately inspired us to work even more closely together.

The start in the region
Michael brings together winter sports, equipment and the joy of perfectly prepared mountain days, and founds Poeder17.
- 2022
From belief to plan
Niels starts Ski Doctor a few villages away and meets Michael. They share the same vision and values around quality.
- 2024
The Alpine Co. is born
Poeder17 and Ski Doctor join forces professionally at Kampeerwinkel Roermond on the first floor of Retailpark: the ideal place to help customers prepare for their winter holiday.

What began with learning to wax and sharpen grew into a genuine passion for equipment care. Niels loves seeing skis or a snowboard leave the workshop better than they arrived. His goal is simple: deliver equipment that inspires confidence and creates that true wow feeling on the mountain.

Michael combines his love of skiing with years of attention to properly prepared equipment. He listens to what each winter sports enthusiast needs and turns it into honest advice and careful servicing. For him, a successful ski trip starts in the workshop, with skis ready for every turn and every adventure.
